Hi,
Does anyone know of a video format that have a feature similar to Real Media's RMEvents? And also a tool that would allow me to author a video file with synchronized events using such feature (it's ok if I have to do some programming to get it working)?
The RMEvents is a feature defined for Real Media (.rm) files, such that one can embed into the video file an "event stream", that would cause the player fire "events" at specified time instants. Actually, there are 5 event types, but I'm only interested on the URL events. You can use such URL events to tell the player to display specified URLs on the browser window, in a way that they are synchronized them with the video content.
I'm currently looking for alternative similar solutions, using other video formats.
Thanks for any help.
