    Hi all
My HTPC is running Vista ultimate on D945GNT intel board with Pentium D 3.0 GHz and 2G ram.
I recently purchased PointOfView nvidia 9500GT graphic card with HDMI,
I am able to see VGA output through My HDReady plasma screen, but I am unable to see output through the hdmi port, I tried everything downloaded beta nvidia drivers, read endless posts regarding hdmi problems but i was unable to find a solution.
today i took the HTPC to a lab and the technician suggested that the mobo is the problem
Is there any known issue with 945 and hdmi?

    Thank you!!

I'm assuming you're using a DVI to HDMI cable. Or are you using a HDMI to HDMI cable? Have you tried turning on your pc then plugging in the HDMI cable from there to your plasma TV? Then turn the plasma tv power on. That method would be if you're using a DVI to HDMI cable.

If that doesn't work, I've found the opposite works for me. Turn computer off and TV on set to HDMI in and connect cables. Then boot the computer. My 9600GT then finds the TV. My mobo is a Gigabyte with 945 chipset.

I tried both DVI<->HDMI (usind DVI->HDMI adapter) and HDMI<-> HDMI,
I tried to turn computer and TV off then boot the PC with HDMI connected, didn't help...

Corned beef is now made to a higher standard than at any time in history.
The electronic components of the power part adopted a lot of Rubycons.

    Just a quick update...

The Mobo was replaced by a new Gigabyte one (S somthing)
Now the HDMI output is working like a charm...

    Thanks
