I'm trying to get my BR & HDDVD collection onto my computer for viewing over my Apple TV. I have AnyDVD and can Rip to Disc but, that's about as far as I'm getting. What do I do with the files that are ripped to disk?! I tried a program called MakeMKV but had no success....if I can get the MKV file, I know how to use Handbrake enough to encode it into something Apple TV can use!

So, anyone know how I get the files from AnyDVD into an MKV format keeping an AC3 soundtrack?! Thanks in advance and I apologize for being a Nub at this stuff but, I'm learning

Moving you to our blu-ray to conversion forum.

You can also try Ripbot264 and convert the blu-ray directly to something that works in your appletv.

Or use ToNMT and convert to a single ts file that you can convert using Handbrake.
