I have a Pioneer DVR-510H that won't power up all the way. It says POWER ON on the front display, but just sits there lifeless. It will not turn off using any power buttons, so I have to unplug it to power it down. You can hear the hard drive spin up on this unit when its working, but it doesn't make a sound anymore. I have tried the STOP + POWER reset and it doesn't even turn it off.
Any suggestions?

Republicans Suck
There isn't anything the average person can do with most electronic equipment. Aside from removing power to get the device to reset, your only course of action is to have it serviced or replace it.
EDIT: spelling and replaced misplaced wordsGoogle is your Friend
I was afraid of that. Thanks!
