I use Canon digital cameras which shoot video in the motion jpeg (mjpeg, mjpg) format along with standard jpeg images. I would like to create a DVD slideshow where the images and videos are shown in the sequence they were taken.
One solution I found was DVDSlideShowGUI under windows but it seems to crash with large projects.
What I would really prefer is if someone had a recipe for this using Linux command line tools like mencoder and/or ffmpeg. In this way I can totally automate the process with a shell script. I would be happy if I can go straight to DVD compliant mpeg file that I can author with something else.
Has anyone cracked this nut yet? I have been searching for a solution for a while but most hits show how to process jpegs alone, not slides and video combinations. DVDSlideshowGUI almost got me there but I'd like something I can automate and is stable.
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!
