    As basic as I can put it
    I need to be able to transcode from Pro Res to Huffyuv AVI
    ...without using Digital Rapids which is the only machine I can find that can do it
    but this cost way to much money !!!

    I will attached some spec examples

    I greatly appreciate any help at all
    I have been going crazy looking for something that can do this transcode

  2. You can use avisynth and QTInput() to frameserve. You need the windows prores decoder installed. All free

    I get an error
    I do have the latest pro res decoder for windows
    and latest virtual dub

    QTInput(S:\TEST\DuckQuacking.mov)

    am I doing something wrong

  4. Your syntax is incorrect, you forgot the quotation marks

    QTInput("file.mov", audio=true)

    Do you have the most recent version?

    Also, you might have to install this http://support.apple.com/downloads/Apple_ProRes_QuickTime_Decoder_1_0_for_Windows

    However, don't install this if things seem to be working in Avisynth

    OMG !!! THANKS SO MUCH !!!!! I am going crazy that your help worked
    my QT Source was out of date it was the .5
    I transcoded my file using the below syntax

    QTInput("S:\TEST\DuckTest2.mov", audio=true)
    BicubicResize(1280,720,0.1,1.00).AssumeFPS(23.976)

    and it seems fine !!!

    this is my first time posting and I got help right away ! Love this site

    if it was possible to reverse the transcode
    How would you be able to transcode from Huffyuv INTO Apple ProRes HQ Spec ???
