I have a VBR ogg file that I demuxed from an MKV. The trouble is it won't sync with the new video.

    MediaInfo:
    Code:
    Audio
    Format : Vorbis
    Codec ID : A_VORBIS
    Duration : 29mn 19s
    Bit rate mode : Variable
    Channel(s) : 2 channels
    Sampling rate : 48.0 KHz
Trying to convert it to (VBR or CBR) mp3. Any tips?

Load your mkv in avidemux use the Shift(ms) tool to line up if needed (play/preview), and set mp3 as your audio output...Try it...
    There's also AVIMux Gui..

    Or try Winamp's DiskWriter plugin.
The "big headache" from both WM Audio and Ogg Vorbis is the
variable sample-rate, not the variable bitrate.

    Good-luck!
