The Chrome button was the first thing I tried. It said patch successful or whatever. Still had popup. Came back to thread and followed all the different instructions I could find, including yours that I quoted. Nothing seems to work.

You have temporary solution by disabling Html5 player
by renaming file ffmpegsumo.dll in Chrome folder
    rename for example to ffmpegsumo_.dll

    You have message in Youtube?

  10. No, I switched to Flash player in Youtube and used the patcher from this thread(deeply grateful to the author. It even works on linux). However, there are many sites using HTML5 and there is no way to switch to Flash. As you know, in HTML5 the "Press esc to ...." message looks even more ugly than in Flash

  11. No, its not possible to remove message "Press esc to" in HTML5 player

What happens when you go to full screen on this video?

  15. The first cat ever that takes a shower xDDD

Nothing else. No message at all.

Unless it is because I'm under "special conditions", this is running on Windows 2000 with Kernel extensions, I don't see any difference.

Before post this, I tested with an XP virtual machine in different conditions, just in case, and the message appeared in a new profile.

I remember now what you meant.

Initially, irritated as all of you, I dig in about:config without success until I found this:
    http://superuser.com/questions/613794/disable-firefox-fullscreen-warning-with-html5-stuff

Set the browser preference full-screen-api.approval-required to false.

I typed too fast fullscreen and I didn't see that pref, the firsts times.

What confused me was the fullscreen message when it was a permission.

By the way, I warning that, just in case, setting this preference to false could be a problem as HTML5 canvas gets more and more popular. In the future, sometimes might be preferable to deny some sites fullscreen access.

The individual permissions probably are stored in places.sqlite file but I didn't dig on that as I preferred to set that pref and forget anything else.

    Regards.

  27. I'm using Firefox. The problem was I was right clicking the file and doing Save As. You have to left click it and go to dropbox first. That works. Thanks.
