I would like to use windows movie maker to edit my home videos recorded from a sony handycam. The issue is that the files have a non-square pixel aspect ratio and I can't seem to find a tool that will properly convert the files to .avi or .wmv and maintain the correct aspect ratio.
Ideally, I'd like to do a re-size (PAR conversion) and get an avi file with square pixels which would then make it a lot easier to deal with in other tools. Does anyones know of a good way to do this?
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!

Make a custom export profile and you can use whatever video size you want, see http://www.papajohn.org/MM2-SavingMovies-CustomProfiles.html ( you can also download profiles there like 1280x720)
