    Does anyone have the instructions to make the Insignia IS-DVD040924 dvd player region free. What has been posted on 12/8/08 did not work.

    You can always ask, but you may be out of luck. All players cannot be made region free. Those that could be made region free in the past may have had hardware changes that break the region free hacks. Some hacks only work on models sold outside of North America.

    It's getting harder and harder to find players that can be made region free. You can blame/thank Hollywood for that.
