Sony just released this little recorder that records straight from its camcorders...My question is, has anyone used this yet and how do you like it?

the output terminals are for playback only, not for monitoring your recording

you cant create custom dvd menu background like the MC6

AND

the DVDs are not accessible by MACs! you get zero access permission, so you cant open or see the Jpegs or Video_TS folder. WTF ?

but PC users, you can........

Sony Support, said no updates on firmware to give you MC6 features, like custom background, = return item

Sony Support, said its not an issue with MC10, as the DVD works on PC. = return item

Gonna Have to get MC6

Anybody with solutions how to hack the default JPEG backgrounds and solve the MAC issue?
