    Hi there!

What is the equivalent of Vobsub or Subrip for Mac?

    Cheers!

    Thanks for replying!

But don't think it does the job I'm looking for.
I wish to convert .idx/.sub to .srt not to extract subtitles from .vob files

Jubler, TitleLab, & Subtitler can convert to .srt or even .stl.
"Everyone has to learn, so that they can one day teach."

I've been able to go in and edit the .sub file, adding
capitialization, punctuation, spacing, etc to the file,
and then saving out to .srt. By Organize, do you mean
re-order the time markers of when it is to appear on screen?

Once you have your ".srt" file finished, Submerge does a fantastic job of embedding the subtitles into the movie. It does it by adding the subtitles to a separate track within the QT movie rather than re-encoding so the process leaves the quality of the movie intact and it only takes seconds to complete.
