Cant Play / Load A RAW DV file "Codec Status Undetermined" Please

for some reason i cant play DV videos

I have a mov video. i opened it with Gspot and said

File Typ: RAW DV - IEC 61834 (.DV)

Codec: DV/DVC
Status:Codec Status Undetermined

I tried opening this with VLC player. TMPGENC 4.0 XPress even Quicktime and wont play

Dont know if its a codec issue or what.

If so what codec should i download. or how can i fix this problem? so i can play the video and edit it

Try mpeg streamclip and avidemux.

File Open error: unsupported file type

you might try the enosoft dv product. iifc it reads raw dv, and then you could output dvavi type I or II.
