    Hi
    How can I rip a DVD to AVI that have no codec or a standard codec so people that have windows movie maker can import it and edit the file.

    I know the file going to be big but that is ok, I just dont wan't to have problem with codec when it time to use windows movie maker.

    Handbrake save it in Xvid
    AutoMKV save it i Divx/Xvid
    FairUse Wizard 2 save it as Xvid.

    AVIDEMUX! Open vob, choose video->dv and audio->wav pcm, Save and save as video.avi(be sure to add the .avi extension). And it works fine to import in Windows Movie Maker.

    use autogk and choose xvid...simple
