    Hi all,

    i was converting one of my DVD to mkv format (x264 and AC3) using Xvid4PSP.
    i have used Q18 Extreme (constant output) as video encoder and 384 Kbps AC3 audio encoding.
    i tried to used GSpot to find out the information regarding the Bitrate of mkv file but iam unable to find it out.
    GSpot is working for avi files.

    which tool should i use for knowing the bitrate of my mkv file.

    thanks

  3. It should work for all files that you created with xvid4psp. When you use text view it will give you more information

    You can also calculate it manually, if you want the video bitrate, just remove the audio:

    filesize = bitrate x running time

    bitrate = filesize/running time
