    Hi All.

AOA Audio Extractor seemed ideal for my needs but the problem is that you cannot set the start and end times manually (not for a longer file anyway). There is a slider bar which goes up/down in increments of a few seconds so you end up with unwanted audio in the final clip.

I was wondering if anyone could suggest a similar simple alternative that I could try (freeware, W98SE).

    Thanks.

virtualdub or avidemux. Set the start and step, file->save as wav in virtualdub or audio->save avidemux.
