    I am looking for a download for a MPEG2 Conversion Codec. I have been searching the web amply and have yet to find exactly what I need... Can anyone assist me?

    mpeg2 conversion codec? a mpeg2 decoder codec? Then use ffdshow.

    Or do you want conversion program?

    I have a program, I just need the codec that will allow my program to recognize my files which happen to be MPEG2

    Then try ffdshow or DScaler Mpeg Filters.

    Thank you for the assistance but I am unsure how to use ffdshow. All I need is a MPEG.dll so I can use my original program to convert video files...

    Okay how about Stinkys MPEG2 Codec

    But really ffdshow is much better and really is not hard to use. Just install it then run the ffdshow video decoder configuration and make sure it says libavcodec in the line that mpeg1 and 2 is locatedm then click apply and okay. Then your done and you will never have to do it again.
