    Hello guys and gals!! I have a question? I can not get the sound to go to my t.v. this is what it looks like. http://store.apple.com/us/product/M9319G/A Now i have the mini dvi hooked to my mac and have my s video cable to my t.v. and can not get sound to come out of my t.v.?? What kind of cable do i need to make the sound work?What am i doing wrong?? thanks alot!

    S-Video is video only. You need a separate cable for audio to the TV. TV end will be RCA Red/White. Camcorder end varies. See manual.

    so the audio in/ optical digital audio in port on my imac with RCA jacks running to the computer? Is there such cable and what would it be called or what website could i get it at?? thanks again!

    There should be a mini audio out jack on the iMac probably being used for speakers. Use that jack and connect to RCA Red/Wht at the TV.

    ok i got that part that i have to use the RCA red and white to hook to the t.v. but i guess i'm not understanding what cable you use to the imac?? sorry but i do appericate your help alot!

    You didn't identify your TV as having digital audio in, so you need a cable with these connectors. A Radio Shack will have them at various lengths. Online search will be less expensive.
