I just recently brought my self a blu writer, its just wonderful.

I have my wedding film span over a few dvds so i ripped them on to my computer, and compressed them aswell to i think is mpg4 for ps3 or divx not sure what codec.

But i was wondering if i keep the ripped mpg4 files how the are without changing the format and make menus for it on the blu ray disc so that they will work on ps3, like the tmpeg enc menu creator that had divx support for dvds.

Can somebody help me, and put me in the right step on what software to use and to be ps3 compatible.

    Thank You

DVDs use mpg2, which is also compliant for Bluray. These can be authored with Tmpgenc Authoring Works 4 and burned to Bluray with Imburn.

If you encode with H264 then you could look at multiAVCHD. Look carefully at the menus you will have to live with though.
