  1. I ripped a 2 hour home DVD to AVI, edited it in Premiere Pro to take out unwanted scenes, now I want to convert to DIVX or XVID. I tried Divx converter, but it doesn't like the 20 gig file that PPro spit out (export:movie). I don't have the disc anymore and I'm stuck with the AVI that I converted it too from the disc. Other wise I would use FairUse wizard. So at this point, I was considering converting back to MPEG2, then using DVDLabPro to convert back to VOB's, than convert to ISO so FUW can convert to divx or xvid. I know there has to be an easier way. Thanks

  3. Divx Converter probably just needs a VFW DV decoder like Cedocida. I'm guessing this because you talk of 2 hours of video being 20 GB and you're using Premiere Pro.

But if you simply install Divx or Xvid you should be able to export as Divx/Xvid AVI directly from Premiere Pro. I believe it can export AVI with any VFW encoder.
