I have a bunch of flv clips i want to combine. The way I tried was to convert them all to avi using anydvd converter, but the audio went out of sync. So what is the best way to combine these clips, so that audio/video sync is maintained?

If they all have exact same settings you could try use Movica but I suspect they are different, try then convert them all to avi using WinFF instead(avi with xvid with mp3 audio for example). Check so they are in sync and then join lossless using for example virtualdub or avidemux.

I actuallu used DVDFlick to combine the flv clips, a process that took 4 hours, and there is no loss in sync. But I was wondering if it could be done faster. Someone said windows movie maker can do this, so I am goin g to try it

If you want a DVD then you can try ConvertXtoDVD. Faster then DVDFLick but not free then.
