  1. Hi, dear all.

    Can you point me some methods and softwares to extract subtitles from ratDVD files?

    My goal is to extract them to be read using program like Subrip. And after that, transform them into srt "editable" files.

    Have you tried convert the ratdvd file back to dvd again(using ratdvd)? Then extract the subs using subrip.

    I'll try this.

    My fear is that I loose some dvd features in the process. Or, the worst: can't use the subtitles to be read by Subrip

    I could find one advice too:

    1. Extract the files inside the .ratdvd to an folder

    2. Rename file extensions
    XVO ----> VOB
    VSI---> BUP

    3. Extract the subtitles with Subrip
    If you have some more information, it'll be nice.

  4. I REconvert the Ratdvd file to dvd using their software (Ratdvd) and extract the subtitles using Subrip as a regular dvd. :P
