Hi everyone,
I hope I'm in the correct forum. A long time ago, and very far away, I got a WinTV-pci card (no onboard encoder) which was great.
Now, with all this digital switchover and PVR stuff, I'm looking for the right card with a hardware encoder for my (somewhat old) PC. I put my computer's specs in my profile.
I would like to have a card with analog input, ATSC and an MPEG2 encoder. I won't need to use an antenna, as I've got cable here which I can plug into the coax on the card. I've been to the capture card listings, but I just don't know which one to pick out. I'd like to use the card with Beyond TV software. I'm not too clear on the differences between USB2 and PCI, for what would run best on my setup. Thanks for the help guys!
