    I HAVE PURCHASED AN INSIGNIA NS-FS DVD FROM FUTURE SHOP AND NEED A HACK CODE TO MAKE IT REGION FREE. THE ONE POSTED ON THIS SIGHT (CODE 9,7,3,5) OPENS THE SCREEN BUT WONT LET ME GO TO THE FIELD "REGION" . CAN SOME ONE HELP. THANKS ,GEMA

    What is the model number? NS-FS does not seem to be a valid model number.

    Also, please turn off cap lock - it is regarded as someone yelling.

    Sorry,but I have checked the model number for the Insignia Dvd and it is
    NS-FSDVD dvd player this is in the users guide and also on the box. Thanks for the help if you can.

    OK - you put a space in between FS and DVD in the orig post, so I did not know that it was part of the model number.

    I did some checking, and it seems that Insignia locks the region code - it can't be changed.

    It seems that a lot of newer DVD players are locked to a specific region, and can not be hacked.
