    Hey guys!

Having a bit of a problem with a video I am trying to import into Sony Vegas Pro 8, when I import the video all that is displayed in the timeline is the audio channel, but when I choose form the options 'open file in player' I get the audio and video playing, I have tried opening the video in Movie Studio but it does the same.

Here are the detail of the clip obtained from GSpot:

    Audio

    Codec: 0x0011 (DVI ADPCM)
    Info: 44100Hz 177 kb/s (1 chnl)

    Video

    Codec: M4S2
Name: Compliant MPEG-4 v2 Simple Profile
    FP/s: 29.970
    640 x 480

Is there something I am doing wrong or missing i.e codecs, plugins?

  6. if you can upload a small sample somewhere and post a link here, people will check it for you.

vegas normally works with mpeg-4 without complaining too much.

    Just seen this topic https://forum.videohelp.com/topic345729.html?highlight=stream%20attributes%20could%20determined

It seems I have a similar problem but unfortunatly due to the attitude of the original poster it seems he did not get the answer he wanted!

Could you guys recommend anywhere I can upload the file so as someone may looks at it?

Also if it helps the file was taken using a casio digi cam.

  9. if you have a hotmail account, it has shared space. or sites like rapidshare, mediafire, megaupload, or google file sharing for others.

[edit] or if you can make one under 6mbs it can be attached here.

    Here we go then!

I have 19 other clips taken with the same camera, some are larger files due to length.
