    Dear Friends,

I have an .avi video that I downloaded from the Internet.

It appears in a distorted aspect ratio, compressed horizontally, making the figures in it appear too slender.

How can I change the aspect ratio of the file so that the figures appear normal?

    Regards to all from

  2. It depends on the type of video contained in the .avi, for mpeg4 ASP (e.g. divx/xvid), you can try mpeg4modifier

If you don't know what kind video, use mediainfo or gspot to help identify

Another option, is that many software players can adjust the aspect ratio to a custom value during playback (e.g. KMplayer, MPC, SMPlayer,etc...)
