Well the included software with my Canon HG 20, stopped working. Anytime I try to transfer video it stops responding. This is mostly likely due to me using Windows 7. I've tried all the compatibility options and runnign as admin. I'm giving up on this app.
So what are my options as for transferring video form camcorder to my PC?
PC Specs
Windows 7 32 bit
AMD Athlon X2 5000+ (2.6 Ghz)
2 GB of Ram
BTW, Windows has some built in tool to transfer video form my camcorder. It transfers them as .mts files, and the original software bundled with the camcorder (ImageMixer 3 SE) transfer them as .mt2s Is there any significant differences between these file formats? I'd feel safer with a separate program though. Thanks for reading!
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!

Easy options...
Wait until "someone" has something that will work with a new or not even mass produced operating system
I believe your Canon software works with Vista...or below..
