I want to burn all my audio songs/files on a 4.3GB DVD and then take that same DVD and play it in my Car CD player. Is there any software that will do this?

Although DVD players can recognize CD discs, CD players cannot recognize DVD discs.

No one ever does their homework on this site before moaning "It can't be done!!!" there are too many quitters here

It is a very simple process:
    • Use audacity or any other audio program to convert your MP3s to 44Khz wav files (use batch convert if you have many).
    • Take those converted files and use Imgburn to create an iso.
    • burn the iso to DVD-RW using imburn
    • Rip the DVD-RW using DVDDecrypter, in iso mode
    • Mount that iso in DaemonTools
    • Use DVDShrink to rip the iso mounted in DaemonTools, in iso mode
    • Use Isobuster to open that iso an rip the audio files from it
    • Use Imgburn's wizard to burn a disc from files, and select the ripped audio files (700MB max)
    • Burn compilation to CD-R or CD-RW
    • play your new disc in your CD player

How about just converting the songs to mp3 ... and burn to a CD ... burn about 154 songs to one CD ... would take a long time to listen to. Nero 7 [I bought it a few years ago at CompUsa] can easily burn MP3z to a Data CD and it will play in a Car CD player. Just click on the Nero Express tab.

154 is just a guess ... my MP3 folder has a lot of mp3z in it and I just did a simple swipe with my mouse to see how many I could select ... size was 668 megs ... some songs would not be included in the true CD if I was to burn a DATA CD ... filled with MP3 songs files. Both my cars in the drive way ... have Pioneer CD players in them that play Mp3z.

And some have a very high bitrate. I use Cool Edit Pro 1.2a and Cool Edit Pro 2.1 for editing my mp3 and wav files. I use the Mp3 codec that allows very high bitrates ... 44 Khz and 48 Khz ... conversions.

I also use Sound Forge 8.0 ... when needed.

For ripping audio off of Audio CD disks ... I use AudioGrabber 1.82

    Me, i'd be more blunt!!!

If it could play DVDS it would be called a DVD player NOT a CD player!!!!!!!

The next to the last step in Supreme2k's steps:
"Burn compilation to CD-R or CD-RW"

The thread is asking about playing songs off a DVD in a CD player.
You can play a CD in CD player, A CDR in CD player if it supports it, But I have not seen a CD player that would play a DVD (burnt as audio or not).
There are car DVD players that will play DVDR with mp3 files burnt on them.

I put about 190 songs in mp3 format on a single CDR and my CD player in car plays it just fine.

    The OP clearly says

I want to burn all my audio songs/files on a 4.3GB DVD and then take that same DVD and play it in my Car CD player
Not "how do I copy files from a DVD to a CD.

    The question is

"How do I play a DVD disc in a car CD player"

    And the answer is . . . . .

    You can't.
