I am very new to the creation of Blu-ray discs and was wondering what I should be shooting in to create a blue-ray disc in Encore CS3. I'm editing in Premiere CS3
I'm using a JVC GY-HD250U shooting in 1280x720P 29.97 drop frame.
I noticed that the options for Blue-Ray on the what is section specify that for 1280x720 the options are
1280x720x59.94p, 50p (16:9)
1280x720x24p, 23.976p (16:9)
My camera can shoot in:
HDV HD-60P
HDV HD-30P
HDV HD-50P
HDV HD-20P
HDV HD-24P
What should I be shooting in or does it matter?
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!

I would probably shoot in 24P and make 1280x720x24p, 23.976p (16:9).

Any reason why 24P. I'm trying to stay away from a film look although what I'm shooting doesn't have much movement. Since I have been shooting in 29.97 I'm afraid that my managers might notice a difference in quality, that is if they can tell.
I'm doing some tests today using 1280x720 60P drop frame so 59.94
I'll let you know how it works.
