    Hi Folks,

I have a bunch of videos of 720 X 560 resolution videos. All these videos are already compressed. The size of each video is around 40 MB to 50 MB.

Now i want to convert these videos into 640 X 360 (Wide Screen) Videos without losing the quality.

Now i am able to convert them using Virtualdub. But when i use no compression, the output video is rounding more than 5 Gigs.

When i use a compression technique like MSU the output is around 500 MB , quality is good. No loss of quality.

When i use a compression technique like DiVx and FfdShow, the file is around 40 - 50 MB but i am losing great amount quality??

Can anyone suggest a better solution for my problem.

I want the files to remain of the same quality and of same size.

    Thanks a lot,
    Candyman

It doesn't work that way. They won't remain the same quality no matter what you do and what size you give them (unless using a lossless codec, such as Lagarith, with a huge resulting size). When using very lossy codecs such as DivX or XviD, the quality loss is often noticeable.
