Forgive if I posting in the wrong area, I have been looking at the topics and don't know really where to post.
I have a Sony 350 BD player. I have downloaded 2 mkv movie at 720p, the first one works prefect, I demuxed the file and used tsmuxer to create a BD DVD (AVCHD) but the second gives me a double image when I play it on my BD Player. I checked the codec on Tsmuxer and both say x264 for video and at 4.1 for the level.
    As ideas?

What is the video resolution? Check the mkv with mediainfo. If it's non blu-ray compliant(see www.videohelp.com/hd#tech ) it might look like that and you have to reconvert using for example ripbot264.

Have the exact same problem here!!!
However, did not understand Baldrick's post...maybe you could be more specific on how to fix this problem?
    Thanks.

Not compliant. At the very least you have to add back the letterboxing to make it 1280x720.

Thanks for the quick answer manono!
And the best and easiest way to make it to correct height is? Ripbot?

  7. I'm sorry, Kl3m0, but I couldn't tell you. I'm sure someone else can. And if Baldrick recommended Ripbot264, then you're right in thinking that's probably the way to go.

Well my film didn't work via RipBot either. How can you change the resolution to a correct measurement so it plays back correctly?

Just to clarify the instructions above, you need to make the frame size full 720p (i.e. 1280x720). So you have to add borders to the top and bottom

    (720-544)/2 = 88

    AddBorders(0,88,0,88 )

So add that to the .avs script. You can use any GUI, they all use x264 and do the same thing. Ripbot should work fine.

Also some blu ray players are known to have problems playing back BD5/BD9 and some firmware updates make actually make it worse. Check your player's specific forum.
