    Yes, convert it to a suitable format (Divx/Xvid or mpeg-2)

    rw is a poor format to convert from. Most software struggles to do a good job. Quality software rarely does because the authors don't waste time on it.

    I would suggest trying SUPER first, followed by MediaCoder, and if things get really, really desperate, WinAVI.

    Xilisoft was another one I used to use many moons ago - as was winavi. Never had much joy with SUPER in this regard as far as I can recall
