Contact the manufacturer of the universal remote that you are using. If there is a code, they should be able to supply it to you. Keep in the mind the WD units are new, so any older remotes likely won't have any codes. The Logitech units should work as the programming is done on the PC using a code database maintained by Logitech.

I sprung for the $20 + S&H for the New Dishnetwork learning remote 21.0 IR/UHF Pro.

Right out of the Box it gave all my HD DVR functions. TV Ditto.

Programmed the Aux button for the input switching and volume on myTV, Input switching and Audio on my Surround sound system. So using the AUX button on it I can do all I need to enjoy the WDTV with one remote and no switching back and forth between TV, Sound system and WDTV player.

I still haven't decided whether to program the DVD buttons for my changer or My Phillips 5990 or Philips/Pioneers DVD recorder.

I guess the harmony remotes are nice but for <$30 I do all I needed.

    Anyway that was my Solution.

    Cheers
