    I couldn't find a way to play EVO files from hard drive,but m2ts files would play in WMP. I renamed the EVO file m2ts and it plays in WMP.

    It sounds like those are HD VC-1 format files. This thread at Imatrix might give you some info: http://forum.inmatrix.com/index.php?showtopic=5592 If they are HD files, PowerDVD HD may be able to play them if you have a fairly fast system and video card.
