Hi,
I have a folder of Alcohol 120% files (md0_auto file, MD1, MD2, MDF, MDS). It's a movie.
I would like to make a DVD5 to play in a standalone dvd player. When I use ImgBurn to create the dvd, ImgBurn makes a data dvd. The finished dvd has the same files as above. It won't play on a standalone, and it appears as blank dvd on a Mac even though it has data on it.
How can I convert the Alcohol 120% files into another format I can burn such as mp4, avi, mov, mpg, wmv? What other ways are available to be able to view the Alcohol 120% files as a DVD5?
Thanks in advance.
FYI: I'm using WinXP SP3 on a Mac running Parallels.

You should choose the "Write Mode" (CTRL + ALT + W).
Use DaemonTools for mounting a "virtual DVD" from the image file(s).What other ways are available to be able to view the Alcohol 120% files as a DVD5?
BTW, are you sure that that movie is a DVD-Video file set
(I mean, .IFOs, .BUPs and .VOBs)
\\\\
Select write on imgburn and browse for MDS and then burn, thats the proper way to burn image files, not data as you did.
Ben Johnson-I didnt take any stereos!
Thanks for the responses. I used imgburn as you described, and I got the same result as I described above. The finished dvd won't play.
Midzuki. I don't have a DVD-Video file set. That's what I'm trying to create. I have a folder with the following files inside (md0_auto file, MD1, MD2, MDF, MDS). As I don't know the source of the files, it's possible that it's not what it claims to be.
I'm sure that I've been able to convert similar files in the past using visual hub. The results have varied but I've always converted the files into an actual video whether it's an mp4 or avi. This time nothing.
If anyone has any other suggestions, please let me know.
Thanks
Copy the files from the folder that you got from the burn and mount them as described earlier, looks like someone made an image file of image files.
Ben Johnson-I didnt take any stereos!
Thanks but it never worked.
I was able to burn (md0_auto file, MD1, MDF, MDS) files before and after so I'm guessing it's a problem with just that particular set of image files not the process (using imgburn or daemon correctly).
