    I just tried to hook up my Panasonic DMP-BD35 to my sony bravia w4100 with an hdmi cable and I am getting no sound from the player. I am not using any audio receiver, just an hdmi cable from the blu-ray to the tv. I checked the menu settings and Hdmi audio output is set to on. I get video but no sound. I just used a regular dvd to test (dark city). Any help would be appreciated.

    In Setup go to Audio>Digital Audio Output and set the audio to PCM and turn off secondary audio.Then turn on PCM Downmix.
