O.K I am not entirely a newbie ( have some experience with editing in premiere and media studio)
However my latest venture is just driving me crazy. I have three seperate .mov files and I tried splicing them together using a downloaded Kodak easyshare. It does splice it up fine, However when I try to upload that spliced video onto you tube the upload stops at the point of splice.
I've tried splicing without a transition(fade effect) same problem.
Cannot seem to understand what is going on? I use a PC and since this is going to be a one time thing am a bit averse to buying any special software for this purpose. Another reason why i am not trying to convert the formats is cause the movies are in 720p and the final product needs to be uploaded onto youtube.
    Any suggestions?
    thanks,

Are you reconverting to another format? If so then to what format(like avi, mpg, etc and video and audio codec)

I would try split/join mov files with mpeg streamclip or quicktime pro.

And I changed the subject. Please use something that actually describes the problem.

No I am just trying to basically stich together 3 peices of .mov files, keeping the same format. The end product seems to be fine when it saves with kodak easyshare but while uploading it always stops at the point of splice/stich
