Question on readability of Imation DVD-R 16X

I am using LG GSA-E30L for DVD burning, it works (before anyway) until I have recently purchased 100stacks of imation DVD-R 16X, which somehow cannot be read by the drive. I put in the blank into the burner and all it says is a CD (?) image with 0 available space.

Any Help would be appreciated.

Download Nero Infotool and compare the Manufacturer I.D. of an old and a new disc. Most likely they're not the same and the only solution is a firmware update.

It's a stupid Windows error. Another one is that you can eject a disc, and it still think it's present. Windows optical recognition has never been very good. Newer SP's fair better than older ones or non-SP systems, however.
