    Im using a samsung DVD writer and it works great for a long time but now it takes more than one hour to burn a data DVD (earlier it takes only 10-15 mins) and some times it gets failed after completing 100%
    My pc configurations are

    Intel pentium D 3.4 Ghz
    Intel 945GNT mother bord
    512mb Ram

    pls help me to solve this problem

    Check device manager to see if you are running in PIO mode.
    You need DMA mode for fastest and best results.
