    Hi, I have a 1080p/8GB .mkv file that seems to be a hog therefore runs slow and goes very out of sync. I have a 4GB RAM quad Code 2.4GH Dell XPS so i don't think its my PC i also can play other 1080p files without any problem.

    Can i fix it by changeing something or maybe recoding it to 720p ?

    It i can fix please let me know THANKS

    Have you tried different players like vlc,kmplayer,mplayer or mpchc?

    You could reconvert it using xvid4psp.

    Hi, Yes tried other players, Media Player Classic was a bit faster and more in sync than WMP/MC but still far off. Maybe i will try the re coding thing. THANKS
