MPEG Streamclip, Audio But No Video!

I am trying to convert an AVI file in MPEG Streamclip, the problem is there is no video just a blank white screen, the audio plays fine though. The AVI file was captured through an EasyCap USB device set to YUY2/576i using AMCap 9.02 software, the file plays fine in WMP, WMM and Nero.



Anyone here clever enough to figure this out?

Sorry, I meant MPEG Streamclip!

I have recorded the video 3 times, with YUY2, UYVY and RGB24. The only one MPEG Streamclip will read is RGB24, the other two just give a white screen. The RGB24 AVI takes up 50% more space so I would much rather use YUY2, I think it looks a bit better aswell. I have tried both QT-7 and QT Alternative and it makes no difference, why can't it play an AVI file encoded with YUY2 or UYVY?

I've given up with it! Just decided to record in RGB24 and suffer the extra file sizes, I'm only recording short clips anyway. I used MPEG Streamclip to trim, upscale/deinterlace and compress the video from a 3gb 720 x 576i AVI to a 68Mb 1280 x 720p MP4 and am happy with the result.
