    Hi:
    I have a Panasonic DMR-EH55, and when i try to open the disc tray appears the word "LOCK" in the display and the tray does nothing. I need a clue about this because i don't find something about in the user's manual.

    Could be the child lock has been activated. If set to 0 it prohibits all DVD video playback. Try holding Enter and Return down together for 30 seconds.

    or unplug it and leave for 30 minutes or see if there is a factory reset in the menu.
