Free dvd authoring software that does the most?

Hi all this is my first post here since the old vcdhelp days and being 'IN' at the very start of home dvd burnin etc i just want to ask what is the best free dvd authoring software that does the most i.e. first plays,motion menu's and so on ? Most times i fall back on Tempeg DVDAuthor but change is as good as a rest !

GUIForDVDAuthor is probably the most flexible free authoring tool.

Graduate from TDA to DVDWS2 or DVDSP. Not free, however.
