Well I bought the philips 5992 dvd player from Costco recently and I bought a passport 320GB to use the USB 2.0 recognition to watch all my videos...

I was just wondering how do you organize the videos in the passport so they come up in order? I have tried renaming the entourage episodes I got to 301.avi, 302.avi, and I so on. I dragged and dropped them into a folder in my passport and when I plug in my USB Passport drive the order is all screwed up...

    It looks like this...

    302.avi
    308.avi
    306.avi
    307.avi
    309.avi
    318.avi

And so on.... I tried Sort By Name and they look fine when I have the passport plugged into my Computer. It is in order on the computer and out of order on the DVD Player

    How do I fix this?

    I prefer FolderSort myself.

    I used this method with a 5990: http://www.videohelp.com/dvdplayers?...&hits=50#70038

It works well. You just punch in the number of the video into the remote. I use a printed list to index them.
