    For some reason I can't get this thing to resume a DVD (I haven't tried a Blu-ray disc yet) at the point I stopped after I've turned it off. It's driving me nuts. Isn't this a basic function that has appeared with every DVD player since the dawn of time? It's certainly been on all of mine.

    The "standby" function on the remote appears to just be "power." Help?

    Unfortunately, 'resume' is not a function on all DVD players, Blu-ray or otherwise.

    Maybe there's an option in setup to turn on/off resume in setup.

    Many of the Blu-Ray players do not resume.
