    Hi, dear all.

    See above:

    ---> http://www.fluffalopefactory.com/miyu/

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

MIYU: Your all-in-one solution for video subtitling and translation management on Mac OS X.
Miyu provides you the tools for scripting, timing, typesetting, and export - in one compact software package. Whether your project is foreign language epics or just home movies, Miyu can get you there with a fully featured, intuitive user interface.

    Features:
    Playback with real-time preview
    Full screen playback
    WYSIWYG Typesetting
Exclusive SnapTiming for rapid subtitle timing.
    Video scrubbing with audio
    Anti-aliased or aliased text rendering
    Flexible subtitle positioning
    Subtitle Stylesheets
    Character Assignment

    ScreenshotSupported Subtitle Formats:
    .miyu (Miyu's native format)
    .ssa (SubStationAlpha)
    .srt (SubRip)
    .edl

    Supported Subtitle Exports:
    QuickTime Video
    AVI Video
    QuickTime Overlay w/alpha*
    DVD .spu*
    DVD .stl Bitmap*

    System Requirements:
    MacOS X 10.3.9 or later
    Quartz Extreme Capable Graphics

Free for private use, affordable for professional use.
The Miyu application itself is free and we want to keep it that way. It handles import of common formats like SSA, gives you a basic scripting and timing workflow, and exports directly to composited QuickTime movie files. So you're welcome to give it a try, do work with it, have a bit of fun and add subtitles to your iMovie and iDVD projects.

    Video Performance Recommendation:
We recommend using nonlinear source video while editing and typesetting - Motion JPEG or Pixlet. We typically use MJPEG-A at half resolution, high quality audio and low quality video, for our translation work. Keyframe video will work for playback and export compositing, but, well, scrubbing back and forth in keyframe video just ain't right.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Thank you.

    Best regards.
