  1. anyone knows a way to do it other than with TSSplitter, which crashes on my PCs?

  4. What are your .m2t files from?

    Try renaming the extension to .ts, This works on some Sony HDV cameras

    VideoRedo is commercial software that should be able to handle it, and HDVSplit might be able to as well

    Yeah, TSmuxer is picky about the file name extension.

    You can also try HDTVtoMPEG2 if you don't mind the output being plain old MPG.
