    So here's the deal i've got an Iflip from memorex which is like a portable DVD player for my Ipod and when i convert my Avi to Mp4 Ipod and play them on my Iflip the video is stretched and ugly. So I was wondering if there a way to convert my videos to MP4 with a specific resolution so the picture is smoother. Here are the iFlip specs.

    Format Compatibility

    * Compatible with:
    - iPod nano (2nd generation)
    - iPod video (5th generation)
    - iPod nano (1st generation)
    - iPod photo
    - iPod (4th generation)
    - iPod mini

    Display

    * 8.4" widescreen LCD display
    * 16:9 / 4:3 aspect ratio
    * 480 x 234 native resolution in RGB mode
    * 75° horizontal viewing angle
    * 70° vertical viewing angle
    * 300 cd/mē brightness
    * 350:1 contrast ratio
    * Response time: Tr = 30ms / Tf = 50ms
    * On-screen menu system (brightness / contrast / color / hue / screen mode / default)

    Connectivity

    * Universal iPod dock
    * S-Video output jack
    * Line out jack
    * Dual headphone jacks
    * DC jack

    Accessories

    * User manual & warranty card
    * Adapters for use with iPod included
    * Lithium-ion rechargeable battery (7.2V)
    * S-Video cable (1.1 meter)
    * Line out cable (1.1 meter)

    Thanks for any help

    What do you convert with now? YOu must use something that can keep aspect ratio and add black borders. Use something like Videora Ipod Converter, Xvid4psp, Ripbot264, TOtal Video Converter.
