    Hi complete noob at this this please be nice

    I am trying to convert a MOV file into a FLV file but while encoding i am getting this message

    "Video: HDV 1080p25, 1440x1080" is unsupported for ffmpeg, or at least it seems so according to the error message.
    An old previous topic seems to claim HDV is well supported, tho.

    Try if the [Play] button works. Then at least you can convert it and scale it down with a mencoder preset, then convert that to FLV.

    Trying to convert mov to flv but keep getting file with 0kbs. This is the output

    File has no audio and I unchecked that encode option. Original file was created in PowerPoint and saved as mov.

    Any help appreciated.

    Quite an unusual movie file! Can you host the file somewhere for me to download and to see if I can make it work somehow?
