LG DV388 - Auto or Multi mode missing. Any solutions?

Hi! I have an LG DV388. It has PAL and NTSC modes. However the Auto or Multi mode is missing. Has anyone found a solution to this problem?

Apart from that, DV388 is a good player.

There's no reason to even use that option. You should set the output to match the type of display you are using.

well, i have an LCD, so it supports both PAL and NTSC. so the auto mode would come in handy!
